Q: I am a Radiographer/Radiation Therapist, why should I register for membership with SSR?
SSR is moving onto a dynamic onliine platform, which is able to facilitate tracking of CPD points and event registrations, and many other useful features which will enhance your career development opportunities. Also, you can interact and learn from fellow radiographers via the online forum, and help to build a strong community among radiographers. Additionally, both diagnostic radiography and radiation therapy are going to be a state registered professions in 2012, which is a good reason to sign up with us now.
Q: I am an existing SSR Member, what should I do?
If you are an existing member, you first need to try to login to update your account details. If you have previously provided us with your IC/FIN/Passport Number, you can use your IC/FIN/Passport Number as both your UserID and Password, and try to login to the site. Once you have logged in to the site, please check if your account details are valid, especially your E-Mail Address as that is our primary form of contact in future. Upon payment of any outstanding fees, your membership will be reinstated.
Q: I am unable to login using my IC/FIN/Passport Number, what should I do?
If you are unable to login to your account using your IC/FIN/Passport Number, we probably do not have your details in our database. Please proceed to register for a new account, and send us an e-mail via the Online Enquiry Form to inform us that you are an existing member, so we can match your record with our database. Upon clearing your outstanding fees, your membership will be reinstated.

For new members, your account will be inactive until you have chosen and paid for the correct subscription fees. For existing members, you have to pay your current subscription fees, as well as any outstanding fees before your account will be Active. On our newly revamped SSR Website, we will be moving entirely to online tracking of our membership and payments. From now on, all payments through the website will be collected via PayPal, under the account

. Payment is possible even if you do not have a PayPal Account, using any credit card recognised by PayPal, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and others. Paypal is a safe and secure international online payments company, they put lots of effort to ensure the maximal security of your card details.
If you do not have a credit card and need to make cash or cheque payments, please send the cheque payment along with the remittance advice to the official SSR adress. We will then manually mark the invoice as paid for in our online system. However, you are encouraged to make the payment online with your credit card, as it provides for a more streamlined electronic process that will help bring our Society to a more current standard.
Q: I have received an invoice for this years' Membership Fees, but what about my previous outstanding fees?
During the first phase of migration onto this new website, we will be collecting the membership fees for the calendar year of 2009, as well as future payments via PayPal. Upon receipt of your payment, your account will first be reinstated, before we proceed to invoice you for your previously unpaid Membership Fees or Penalty Fees. Please note that you will not have access to any extended features until your account is Paid and Active.

. For the time being, you can view your invoice by logging in to the website, and by clicking on "My Payments" -> "My Invoices", where you can print out the invoice, or make payment.
Q: I am an existing member and I cannot login to the website, how should I pay for my membership fees?
If you are unable to login by any of the methods mentioned in the Membership section of this FAQ, then you need to sign up for a new account. Upon confirmation of your e-mail address, you will be redirected to the subscription form upon your first login. Once you make this payment, your account will be reinstated first. Thereafter, we will match your account with our previous records and invoice you for any outstanding fees.
Q: I am being invoiced for outstanding payment but the amount is in not correct, what should I do?
