ABSTRACT SUBMISSION



Clarification of FAQs:
    • The SSR ASM accepts abstracts that have been previously presented to other organisations.
    • Abstracts that have previously been presented at SSR ASM meetings, or published in journals will not be accepted.
    • The submission portal will close at 11:59 pm SGT on 31 January 2024, and no additional revisions will be accepted unless the deadline is extended by the SSR.
    • The first/presenting author of accepted abstracts for the 2024 SSR ASM is required to register for the meeting. If the first/presenting author does not register for SSR ASM, their abstract will be withdrawn from the program and will not be published in the proceedings, of JMIRS. Additional registration details will be provided in the acceptance email. Registration for the main conference will be complimentary for accepted abstracts (only one presenting author)*.
    • Abstract authors are responsible for their SSR ASM registration and travel arrangements. The SSR ASM does not provide an honorarium or reimbursement of travel expenses. 
    • Presented abstracts and final e-posters from the event will appear as part of the Proceedings of JMIRS following the meeting.



Types of Submissions

Oral Abstracts

Abstract title should be explicit.

Abstract should not exceed 300 words. 

Please define all abbreviations and concepts in your abstracts at first use.

The use of tables, graphs, and other types of images in the abstract is not permitted.

The organizing committee reserves the right to edit abstracts as necessary for clarity, grammar, style, and length.

Submissions must strictly follow the templates given:

      1. Abstract title
      2. Aim of research
      3. Methods
      4. Results
      5. Conclusion

E-Poster Abstracts

These projects in this category include thorough, organized inquiry to confirm and refine existing knowledge as well as generate new knowledge.

Projects include: Quality improvement, Innovation, Testing educational interventions with measurements

Diagnostic Radiography / Radiation Therapy / Student poster submissions fall under the broader category of research.

Projects include: Quality improvement, Innovation, and Testing of educational interventions with measurements.

Submissions must strictly follow the templates given:

      1. Abstract title
      2. Aim of research
      3. Methods
      4. Results
      5. Conclusion

Educational Exhibit Category Including Case Reports

Posters describing testing and measurement of the educational intervention after implementation should be submitted under the other categories.

Submissions must strictly follow the templates given:

      1. Poster title
      2. Learning Objectives
      3. Case Description
      4. Conclusion
