SSR Award Recipients
The Society's medals recognise members whose service and professional contribution have shaped radiography in Singapore. Below are every medal, what it honours, and the members who have received it, together with the pioneers and honorary members of the Society.
The Medals
By distinctionK Vaithilingam Medal
Presented specially to individuals who have an excellent and illustrious professional record as well as sterling achievement. He or she must contribute extensively to the SSR and the radiographer profession both locally and internationally.
SSR Platinum Medal
Presented specially to individuals who have served 15 or more years, served in the SSR EXCO and contributed extensively to the profession.
SSR Gold Medal
Presented specially to individuals who have served 10 years or more, preferably served in the SSR EXCO and contributed extensively to the profession.
SSR Silver Medal
Presented specially to individuals who have served 5 years or more, preferably served in the SSR EXCO before and who have meritorious contributions.
SSR Courage Medal
Presented specially to individuals who have demonstrated unwavering courage and dedication in serving Singaporeans in the face of adversity and threat.
